DESCRIPTION:Welcome to join a week full of seminars\, case examples and workshops in English!\nDuring the week we will dive in to four themes: Green transition\, Circular Economy\, Green technology and Voices of the Future. The event week is designed for students and teachers in the Vaasa region.\n\nLearn from experts and innovators driving sustainability and digital transformation\nDiscover new ways of thinking and explore the future of entrepreneurship\nNetwork with local companies and like-minded students\nParticipate on an exciting competition launching soon – with opportunities to showcase your ideas!\n\nRegister by 15.9 and note the separate registrations for each day as well as the challenge.\nSeparate themes and locations during four days:\nNote that the timetable of each day is preliminary and there might still be changes.\nMonday 22 September at 12:30–15:30at University of Vaasa (Fabriikki\, tila F119\, Yliopistonranta 10)\nGreen transition: innovative strategies and practical solutions for achieving a sustainable green transition across industries and communities.\nTuesday 23 September at 8:45–12:00at Yrkesakademin i Österbotten (Auditorium\, Kuninkaankartanontie 30 A)\nCircular economy: How to rethink the existing way of designing\, producing and consuming goods\nWednesday 24 September at 12:30–15.45at Novia University of Applied Sciences (Auditorium Florence\, Wolffintie 33)\nGreen technology: The role of AI and IoT in driving sustainable innovation\, optimizing resource efficiency\, and accelerating the transition to a low-carbon future\nThursday 25 September at 8:45–11.45at Vamia (Auditorium @ Sampo Campus\, L Buidling L105\, Sepänkyläntie 16) \nVoices of the Future: entrepreneurship and innovative thinking\, empowering the next generation of professionals to shape a more sustainable and forward-looking world\nBus transportation\nOn Tuesday\, there will be bus transportation Palosaari – Tori – Sampo Campus – Yrkesakademin and back\, both after the seminar and after the challenge workshop.\nCircular Economy Case Challenge\nby Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna\, VaasaTake on the challenge: how can a given side stream be turned into something useful and valuable? Teams will be formed from students across different institutes – all you need to do is register!\n\nKickoff at Tuesday’s Circular Economy Seminar at 11:45: hear the assignment\, sharpen your pitching skills\, and see how the future can be circular.\nThe student teams will work on the challenges on Tuesday 23 September at 12:30–16:00 (location: Yrkesakademin\, venue assigned at the morning seminar) and on Wednesday 24 September at 9:00–12:00 (location: Novia\, Torget\, Wolffintie 33).\nAll participants get a lunch ticket that can be used at restaurant Hejm.\nThe winning team will be celebrated and awarded at Thursday’s Award Ceremony! All team members in the winning team will receive a hotel gift card to Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna\, Vaasa.\n\nRegister now and be part of shaping the circular future!\nGreen Skills Week is a co-operation between VASEK\, Merinova\, Novia University of Applied Sciences\, University of Vaasa\, Yrkesakademin i Österbotten\, VAMK University of Applied Sciences and Vamia.
